When you first bought your computer, chances are that it came with an operating system and little else installed on it. Perhaps the OEM put in some trial software applications on your computer, or perhaps you bought one that came with no trialware. Regardless, over time you will pile on the applications.

Some software applications are absolutely necessary and you will install those first – something like a properly good media player, an instant messaging application, and an antivirus solution. Other applications you will install to try them out. After a while the number of applications on your computer will grow and grow – and at one point you’ll want to get rid of them.

In most cases uninstalling an application is a relatively straightforward process. Go to the Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs, then click Uninstall or Remove. But we’re not here to talk about normal situations. We’re here to talk about those applications that refuse to be uninstalled, the applications that do no show up in Add or Remove Programs, or the applications that have been corrupted and left data behind after a failed uninstall.

To my mind, there are three important things that Final Uninstaller offer the user: piece of mind, more free space on your hard drive, and improved computer performance. It is a must have if you, like me, install and uninstall numerous applications on your computer.
